Marketing Compliance Analyst

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong experience of financial promotions and regulations to join their Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing technical support to financial services sales and administrative staff on a wide range of financial planning issues, including taxation and trusts.

* Preparation of bespoke client reports on a wide range of topics for use by Financial Consultants.

* Making technical presentations at client seminars.

* Providing technical assistance to sales staff at client meetings.

* Originating and disseminating technical sales ideas to our Financial Consultants.

* The analysis of marketing material produced by Marketing to ensure that it complies with regulatory requirements.

* Delivery of briefings to Marketing colleagues on regulatory developments.

* The interpretation of FSA / ABI rules and guidance updates.

Key skills and experience needed in order to be successful:

* Understanding of FSA financial promotion regulations is essential.

* Graduate calibre with Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.

* Experience within a regulated environment.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

* A keen eye for detail with the ability to work to deadlines.

* A confident decision maker.

* Effective listening and negotiation skills.
