Lead Nurse

Lead Nurse - Birmingham - 45 - 50,000 Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking to recruit a Lead Nurse to translate the client's clinical strategies and models of care into the delivery of care for patients who are treated at a site in the Birmingham area. The role involves providing clinical and professional leadership to all nursing staff on site, ensuring the clinical team works cohesively and effectively to deliver a very high standard of patient care. The postholder will develop the necessary relationships between partner healthcare organisations within the NHS and Social Services and will be a clinical lead in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data for Key Performance Indicators. To apply for this position you must be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC and will be degree qualified with BSc or BA in Health studies or equivalent. Evidence of continuous professional development and having a Teaching and Assessing qualification are also essential for this role. Candidates must also be experienced at a senior level in either an acute setting, primary care or another related area and have managed multidisciplinary teams either currently or previously. Relevant post registration qualifications and/or a Masters degree in a health related subject would be an advantage. Nurses who apply who are Nurse Prescribers will also be at an advantage. Salary for the role will be in the region 45,000 - 50,000 and this will depend on experience.
